About Film Slate Magazine
Film Slate Magazine was started in 2009 by James Paszko and C.J. Perry as an online magazine with a focus on independent film. The magazine quickly gained national attention at which time the magazine partnered with New York Filmmaker, Steve Long, as our East Coast Editor and Jason Chase Tyrrell as our West Coast Editor.
Film Slate published until December 2019 with a focus on screenwriter and filmmaker interviews, feature articles and criticism with a screenwriting and filmmaking slant.
Film Slate Magazine went through many iterations during its run. Most of the content can be found by using the Internet Archive's WayBack Machine.
